About this experience
Over seven days, guests experience Namsai through its landscapes, food, communities and everyday rhythm.
The Gathering includes a tea estate experience, riverside stays, bamboo kayaking, river rafting, a community experience in Ampung Village, visits to the Golden Pagoda, home-cooked meals, bonfire evenings and plenty of unstructured time to slow down.
The itinerary intentionally balances experiences with free time, so guests can explore, rest, work for a little if needed, read, walk, sit by the river or simply do nothing.
The idea isn't to see everything Namsai has to offer. It is to experience enough of it to leave with a different perspective on how we spend our time.
Experience Curation
Day 1 — Arrive & Settle In
Arrive at Dibrugarh Airport, meet the group and drive together to Namsai. Welcome dinner and introductions. Overnight at Hotel Kinnara.
Day 2 — Tea & Slow Beginnings
Slow breakfast, local tea estate walk and tasting, estate lunch, followed by a free afternoon to explore Namsai at your own pace.
Day 3 — Into the River
Visit the Golden Pagoda before heading to Himnam Resort. Riverside lunch, bamboo kayaking, sunset and a bonfire evening.
Day 4 — A Little Adventure
Morning river rafting at Tung Tao, followed by lunch and an unhurried afternoon by the river.
Day 5 — Into the Community
Spend the day in Ampung Village with a local community curator. Experience local traditions, crafts and a home-cooked community lunch.
Day 6 — Do Absolutely Nothing
A deliberately open day. Sleep in, read, journal, birdwatch, kayak, walk, work, explore or simply sit by the river. Golden Pagoda at sunset, followed by a final shared-table dinner and closing circle.
Day 7 — Slow Goodbyes
Breakfast, final moments by the property and transfer back to Dibrugarh Airport.

What should guests bring?
"Comfortable clothing suitable for warm days and cooler evenings, comfortable walking shoes, light rain protection, swimwear/change of clothes for water activities, sunscreen, insect repellent, personal medication, a reusable water bottle and a small day bag. We also recommend bringing a journal, a book or anything that helps you enjoy some screen-free time."
Any important requirements?
"Indian citizens require an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to enter Arunachal Pradesh. This is an online process and participants will be provided with guidance on the application process and required documents. Guests should be comfortable with moderate outdoor activity including kayaking, rafting, walking and spending time outdoors. Participants are expected to arrive at Dibrugarh Airport on 2 October and depart from Dibrugarh on 8 October.

Full payment is required to confirm your spot. All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. If Lost & Found Travel cancels the Gathering, participants will receive a full refund.
