About this experience
A 5-night, 6-day small-group journey into the Sundarbans, designed around slow travel, wilderness, community and creative exploration.
Rather than simply visiting the Sundarbans, the Gathering invites participants to borrow a way of living from the place itself, moving with the tides, paying attention to the natural world, spending time with local communities and leaving space for curiosity, connection and unplanned moments.
Experience Curation
Day 1 — Arrive & Settle
Arrive in Kolkata, travel together into the Sundarbans, boat transfer, check-in, welcome circle and community dinner.
Day 2 — Learning to Notice
Morning in nature, creative practice, village immersion, golden-hour boat ride and dinner under the stars.
Day 3 — Into the Wild
Full-day jungle safari, wildlife and bird watching, followed by a slower evening.
Day 4 — After the Wild
Creative practice, free time and a night boat journey through the waterways, with the night sky and bioluminescent waters taking centre stage.
Day 5 — Carrying the Wild Within
Slow morning, final creative practice, sunset with local musicians, community dinner and a few Lost & Found surprises.
Day 6 — Until Next Time
Breakfast, closing circle, boat transfer and return to Kolkata.

"This is a small-group, slow-travel experience and guests should be comfortable with shared experiences, boat travel, nature, walking and spending time outdoors. The three Creative Practices are optional. No previous artistic, movement or creative experience is required. Participants are expected to respect local communities, the environment and the group's shared space."

Included Kolkata airport pickup and drop, as well as internal transfers during the Gathering, are included in the price.
Cancellation policy
40% booking amount is required to block and confirm your spot. The remaining 60% is payable 15 days before the Gathering. Booking amounts are non-refundable. If Lost & Found Travel cancels the Gathering, a full refund will be provided.
